What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?
Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual.
At Learna, we only collect a minimal amount of personal information to provide our service, such as:

Date of registration
Email address (only if provided by the user)
This Personal Information may be obtained through your use of our website or app, registration for an account, correspondence with our team, or from other sources as required to provide support or fulfil your request.
We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of delivering and improving our services, and for limited communication with users. We may also use your Personal Information for closely related secondary purposes, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure (e.g. sending a reminder about your learning progress). You may unsubscribe from our communications at any time by contacting us in writing.
When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and possible, explain why we are collecting it and how we plan to use it.
Information not collected by Learna:
Other personal details - such as payment information, address, device data, and app store activity - are collected and protected by Apple App Store and Google Play during registration or purchase. Learna does not access, collect, or store this data.
Sensitive Information:
Sensitive Information is defined in the Privacy Act to include things like an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, criminal record, or health information.
Learna does not collect or request sensitive information.
If such information is ever provided to us (e.g. in a support request), it will only be used:
For the primary purpose for which it was provided
For a secondary purpose directly related to the primary purpose
With your consent, or as required by law
Third parties:
Where reasonable and practicable, we will collect Personal Information only from you. In some cases, we may be provided with information by third parties (for example, through app store permissions). We do not charge a fee to process access requests, but may charge a small administrative fee for copies.
